Are solar systems effective in winter months?

Yes, it will still be effective during winter months. However, due to the lower hours of sunlight during winter the production will be lower. In the summer with longer days (more sunlight hours) is when surplus power is more readily produced.

Will my roof fit solar panels?

If you're unsure whether your roof is suitable for solar panels, get in touch with us today. Our team will create a customized layout design, including photos of your actual roof, in the proposal. Ideally, solar panels are installed on north-facing roofs with minimal shading and sufficient space. However, if your roof isn't ideal for solar, we can explore alternative solutions to make solar work for your home in many cases.

What is the maintenance cost?

Solar panel systems are manufactured from long-lasting tempered glass and need little to no maintenance for almost 25 – 35 years. If something happens, most of the equipment companies cover warranties, although the warranty terms depend on the company.
